Thanks to Taylor Kennedy for all of the following:

Hello Al & Ken

Here's some research I have done on Timothy Kennedy in Huntley. I do believe
that he is the Timothy Kennedy that is listed with his brothers John and
David Kennedy in Carol Bennett's book. (page 101,102)

My reasoning is child # 12 who is John kennedy. The godparents were John
Kennedy and Elizabeth McDonnell. (Ken you're sourcing McDonnell??)

Child # 13 is James Kennedy and the godparents were David Kennedy and Ellen
Henright / Enright

Take care for now

Taylor

July 18, 2002: Hello Al & Ken A note on the child of Thomas Kennedy (son of Timothy) and Catherine Delaney. Thanks to Al for the link to the 1901 census, I solved a small problem in my mind but created another. Catherine Delaney was Thomas's first wife, and according to the 1901 census, Catherine the daughter was born January 04, 1872. On the tombstone for Catherine Delaney, her death is recorded as January 11, 1872. That makes her dying 7 days after the birth of her daughter, which was not uncommon. In the St. Michaels Parish records, it is recorded that she died in 1871, problem 1. This explains why Thomas re-married in a hurry to Elizabeth O'Keiffe. What does a farmer do with a newborn but hunt for a new wife. Problem 2, there is a daughter, Mary Ann, who I thought was Catherine Mary Ann, but she died in the 1890's. In the 1901 census, Catherine is shown as living, so they were two distinct people. Yet there is no recorded birth of Mary Ann, and in the 1881 census, that also doesn't show Mary Ann, and naturally the 1901 census wouldn't show it either. Mary Ann is buried with Thomas and Elizabeth, so a logical conclusion at this point is, #1 Mary Ann was the daughter of Elizabeth from a previous marriage, then she would have been shown in the 1881 census, or #2 she was a Brittish orphan adopted by Thomas and his wife after the 1881 census. Any guess's guys???? Troubled Taylor
