History and Genealogy
Here is a new book, just out, by Mr. Bud Van Alstine. The book is called "A Short History of South Sherbrooke".
We were able to purchase a copy from the author's niece at yesterday's meeting of the Lanark County Genealogy Society.
There is now a copy of the book in the LCGS Library, or contact the author at the e-mail address below.
We will also be purchasing a copy for the Library of the Ottawa Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society.
May 4, 2015:

See the 1879 property map of South Sherbrooke Township.
(You will be able to zoom in and locate the villages, mills, ancestors' farms, etc.)
