Warren Soper and Thomas Ahearn were partners in business. They brought Streetcars and Hydro Power to Ottawa. Their stores (below) were on Sparks Street downtown, next to the store of R.J. Devlin. Soper's home, "Lornado" in Rockcliffe later became the home of the American ambassador to Canada. Warren Young Soper, Picture of his Home in Rockcliffe Ahearn and Soper Building in Ottawa, Canada
