I found this publication at another free site. Here is the link https://archive.org/details/cihm_25545.
The publication is in French. It has a listing for all of the villages and towns along its route.
Each of the pages lists the town officials, the principal business establishments and prominent citizens
(both French and English) in the area.
Listings for towns in Ottawa County (Gatineau Valley) commence on Page 237 and include Grenville, Calumet,
Point au Chene, Montebello, Papineauville, North Nation Mills, Thurso, Buckingham, L’Ange Gardien (Angers),
East Templeton, Gatineau, Hull and Aylmer. Rockland is also included.
I found the listings of businesses and individuals helpful in my own family research.
The Montreal to Ottawa line of the QMO&O railway opened in 1877 and was extended to Aylmer in 1878.
This route was acquired by Canadian Pacific in 1882.
