Early Tractors in Canadian Farming, Ontario and Saskatchewan

The picture on the left belonged to Robert Swan, Cheryl's great grand uncle. I thought it would be good to see a steam tractor
and it's size was interesting.
Just a regular steam locomotive but from our pictures, not out of a book or off the web.
Robert Swan took the train out to Saskatchewan.
The picture on the right is of my uncle, Frank Burns. This picture was taken on the Christopher farm in Osgoode Township, Ontario.
Note: Neither tractor has rubber tires. By the early 20th century, work horses were retired and replaced with farm machinery.
