Here is another family who came to Osgoode Township from County Carlow.

Dennis Kearns and his wife Ellen Doyle were in the Ottawa area by 1832:
8 Mar 1832     
Baptism of Mary-Ann, 8 mos. old, daughter to Dennis Kierns / Kearns and Ellen Doyle
Witnesses: Alexander McDonell and Ann McDonell 

by 1833, they were in Osgoode Township:
10 Dec 1833
Osgoode   Baptism of Denis, son of Denis Kearns and Ellen Doyle
Witnesses: Archibald McDonell & Mary McDonell

Also, Bridget Kearns married James McGee.

25 Nov 1842
Baptism of Mary, aged 4 mos., daughter of James McGill, farmer, and Betty Kearns 
of Osgoode
Witnesses: John Mulcahey & Mary McDonnell
