March 1, 2008: Anne Burgess has located the death registration for Mrs. Hutchingame (Johanna). She was born in County Wicklow and died at age 84 on April 20, 1901. She was a widow.
July 30, 2008: Hi Al, I think that, given the parents' names, these two Hutchingame / Etchingham people, below, were siblings. Since we know that Johanna Finn was from Wicklow, and so were the Donnellys, perhaps the Hutchingames were as well. St Patrick's on Nepean St: Mary (Hutchingham) Donnelly, widow of Michael Donnelly, died 16 August 1913 St. Joseph's: Mary Anne Hutchingame, of Thomas and Johanna, married Denis McHugo, of Denis McHugo and Bedelia O'Connor, 17 Oct 1907 Notre Dame: James Hutchingham, of Thomas and Johanna, married Elizabeth Mulroney, of William and Sarah, on 20 May 1877. The following 'birthdates' are all from Notre Dame and all are children of Thomas and Johanna (Finn) Hutchingame John, 4 June 1846 Thomas, 4 Dec 1847 James, 11 Oct 1849 Elizabeth, 10 Jan 1852 (died 14 Jane 1854) Joseph O'Brien, 30 May 1854 Denis, 21 Dec 1855 William, 19 Nov 1858 No entry for daughter Mary Ann who was aged 18 in the 1881 census, so born abt 1863. ... August 2, 2008: I have this St. Pat's record to add to the discussion: Jan 12 1862 Bap. Johanna Donnelly, d/o Michael Donnelly and Mary Etchingham(?) Sp: Thos. Etchingham and Jane Burgess And Jane Burgess m. Dennis Fynn (see attached record from the Basilica). Dennis Fynn had the same parents as Johanna Finn (m. Thos Hutchingham). And from Bytown or Bust: Death Record: Jane Finn, Gloucester, wife of Dennis Finn died 22 June, 1881, aged 45. She was born in County Wexford in 1836. Registration Number 002232. ... Anne
