The 100th Regiment Historical Society
October 21, 2013:
Previously we have exchanged emails about the 100th (Prince Regent's County of Dublin) Regiment or one of the unit's original members. I would like to take this
opportunity to update you on a development that may be of interest to you.
After almost a year and a half of planning, today the 100th Regiment Historical Society has launched a new program. If you know of anyone who
would be interested to be one of the first in almost two hundred years to wear the regiment's uniform or help with the program, please have them contact us.
Please feel free to circulate the above poster.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LAUNCH OF THE RECREATED 100th REGIMENT OF FOOT
The 100th Regiment Historical Society is pleased to announce the launch of its Historical Interpretation Program. For the spring of 2014 the program
will see the 100th (Prince Regent's County of Dublin) Regiment recreated in the Ottawa, Ontario region.
Members of the program will have the rare opportunity to be the first in almost two hundred years to wear the uniform and parade as the
100th Regiment of Foot. Each member will be trained to portray either a private, drummer, or NCO of the regiment as they would have
appeared in garrison during the summer of 1815.
Volunteers aged fifteen years of age and older without restriction to race or gender are invited to apply. The society also invites anyone
interested in helping with program delivery to contact the recruiting office.
Contact The Recreated 100th Regiment by phone 819-209-0711 or email at join(at)100thregiment.org.
